Family Rides

The Eureka ride is a family-friendly attraction produced by Preston & Barbieri, an Italian company that has been manufacturing amusement rides since 1954. Introduced in the early 2000s, Eureka represents an evolution of classic flying rides for children. It features a rotating platform with a central column from which six gondolas extend, lifted by hydraulic arms.

What makes Eureka unique is its interactive element: each gondola is equipped with a lever that allows passengers to control their own ascent and descent during the ride. This innovation enhances the experience, making it more engaging and personalized compared to traditional models.

Eureka’s standard configuration includes six gondolas, accommodating up to 24 riders, arranged around a central axis. The lifting height is moderate (about 2 meters) to ensure safety for young children, and each ride lasts approximately 90 seconds. Due to its simple yet entertaining design, Eureka has gained international popularity.

It can be found in parks across Europe (such as Zoomarine in Italy), Asia (Lotte World in South Korea), North America (where a version is known as "Sally’s Love Buggies” at Canada’s Wonderland), and the Middle East (Adhari Park in Bahrain). This widespread presence has made Eureka a staple attraction in children's areas of amusement parks worldwide.
