The Mini Pirates Ship has its roots in the tradition of swinging rides inspired by pirate galleons, which have captivated generations of visitors. Preston & Barbieri, active since 1954, developed its own compact version to deliver the same thrills as the classic Pirate Ship in a reduced space.

The first models were simple, but over time, the design was refined with advanced materials and customizable theming. While the aesthetics remain true to the iconic galleon, the technology has been optimized to ensure an engaging and safe experience, making it ideal for family-oriented amusement parks.

Today, the Mini Pirates Ship by Preston & Barbieri features a pendulum structure with four supporting columns and two oscillating arms that hold the galleon-shaped gondola. The compact version accommodates up to 24 passengers and swings up to 70° at a maximum speed of 36 km/h, relying solely on gravity. With a height of approximately 8.7 meters and an hourly capacity of up to 480 people, this ride combines reliability, an appealing themed design, and a thrilling yet family-friendly experience.
